AI Edge on NFL ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing). You may optionally provide a display name.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including contest participation, predictions made, features accessed, and app navigation patterns. This helps us improve the user experience and app performance.

Device Information: We may collect device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and push notification tokens to deliver notifications and ensure app compatibility.

Subscription Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card number. We receive and store subscription status and transaction identifiers from Stripe to manage your account access.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Create and manage your account
• Process your contest entries and track predictions
• Display leaderboards and performance statistics
• Process subscription payments and manage billing
• Send push notifications about game updates, contest results, and account activity
• Respond to support inquiries and provide customer service
• Analyze usage patterns to improve features and user experience
• Prevent fraud and ensure security of the Service

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share limited information in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the Service (e.g., Stripe for payment processing, cloud hosting providers for data storage). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Public Leaderboards: Your display name (not email) and prediction statistics may appear on public leaderboards within the app.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure password hashing, and access controls. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data while needed to provide the Service. Account deletion removes or detaches associated personal data from our active account systems after the deletion process completes. Minimal deleted-account identifiers are retained without a configured expiry to prevent deleted data from being recreated. Limited deletion-request and payment-event identifiers are also retained for request handling, financial reconciliation and duplicate-event prevention; these records currently have no configured expiry. They are not retained to keep your account usable.

Backups, manual exports, support correspondence and diagnostic archives are not automatically erased by account deletion. They can retain personal information separately from the active account. We are still verifying their retention periods and cannot currently provide a fixed maximum for every category. We do not promise that every copy expires on a provider-controlled schedule.

Payment, subscription, email-delivery, AI-support and notification providers may hold separate records. Deleting your app account does not automatically erase records held by Apple, Google, Stripe, RevenueCat or our other service providers. Retention and available deletion steps depend on the provider, the record's purpose and applicable legal obligations, including financial recordkeeping and disputes.

Contact support@aibettersedge.com for the retention information available for your request and any additional provider request steps. Applicable legal rights and response deadlines still apply.

Our Zoho support mailbox is configured to permanently delete Trash emails received more than 30 days ago. This setting does not establish retention for Inbox, Sent, archives or separately retained copies.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access and obtain a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Opt out of certain data processing activities
• Export your data in a portable format

7. Push Notifications

With your permission, we may send push notifications about game updates, contest results, and other app-related information. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or within the app's notification preferences.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services, such as sportsbook websites for odds comparison. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app or sending you a notification. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
